It's so fun to pop into Cupcake City for a gourmet cupcake on a whim! We are lucky to have them out here in Reading, as many such places are generally located in the big cities. And, their Cupcake Truck shows up at every town event too! My favorite part of their cupcakes are the gorgeous, creative flavors and decorations! Actually, being a designer myself, the decorations are THE big win for me. I enjoy seeing their new cupcake designs on their social media posts, especially around every holiday. They take a theme and come up with such cute, imaginative cupcakes! They also take requests and special orders. I'm happy that they offer vegan and gluten-free for customers as well. My only wish is that there were more flavors (and designs), and that they were offered daily for those two options. If you haven't stopped in because you live miles away, you must plan a trip to check them out sometime. It'll be worth it to see and taste their perfect cupcake confections!
We had Cupcake City food truck at our annual summer party last Saturday, and they were an absolute delight! We ordered 150 cupcakes, featuring six fantastic varieties, and every single flavor was a hit with our guests. My personal favorites were the bright and tangy lemon and the unique, delicious Italian cookie flavors. The price was also right, shockingly comparable to the ice cream truck that we often use for dessert. The employee working the truck did an excellent job handing out these absolutely scrumptious cupcakes. He was not only friendly and efficient but also quite funny, adding a wonderful touch to the party. We especially appreciated that he was kind enough to box up the leftovers for our guests to take home. Our guests loved having such a fun and delicious alternative to the usual ice cream truck we often hire. Cupcake City provided a memorable and sweet experience for everyone. We highly recommend them for any event where you want delicious, high-quality cupcakes and fantastic service!

I ordered a variety of vegan cupcakes for my birthday and they were absolutely amazing! I was blown away. Not only do they taste great, but they're very well decorated and super cute. My husband handled the ordering and pickup and said it was a total breeze and the service was excellent. My favorite cupcake so far has been the cookie butter flavor. Cupcake City cupcakes are always such a hit for a crowd. One of our staple flavors is lemon (SO GOOD). Otherwise we rotate and have not been disappointed. Latest batch we tried was lemon, Oreo, carrot, and pumpkin. All delicious! A bit pricey but worth it cuz you can tell they put care into each one.
I used to believe Georgetown Cupcake was the only reliable gourmet cupcake spot in Massachusetts. That was until I discovered Cupcake City in Reading. I initially came across them while doing some research, and I was immediately impressed by the photos—the attention to detail and quality looked on par with Georgetown Cupcake. After purchasing a half dozen, I can confidently say they more than lived up to expectations. The cupcakes were absolutely delicious—the buttercream was perfectly balanced, not overly sweet, and the cupcakes themselves were moist and flavorful. They also offer a great variety of flavors to choose from. Overall, I had a 10/10 experience and wouldn’t hesitate to refer others or order from them again for future events. Ordered these for a Bachelorette party and they were a hit! The cupcakes are not overly sweet, moist, and taste amazing! I ordered most of the flavors they have on hand and some of their summer specials (oreo, salted caramel, carrot cake, red velvet, peanut butter, cookie dough.. this are the ones I remember). Everyone loved them. I definitely plan on coming back to try some of their specials! They have their own parking lot, which is helpful for pick up. The Dubai chocolate cupcake was the best cupcake I’ve ever had in my entire life. I’m a chocolate cake/cupcake addict, so I don’t leave this review lightly. The cake was perfectly baked and the frosting/pistachio proportions were perfect… it was magical. It was so flavorful that words can’t even describe it. I can’t wait to go back and try all of the other flavors!
Just stopped by, they close at 5 people! They have four packs of chocolate and vanilla minis for Fourth of July. They are adorable.!! We bought these red velvet drumstick and salted caramel.❤️❤️❤️
